WBS is a hierarchical, incremental decomposition of a project into phases, deliverables, and work packages. It is a tree structure showing the subdivision of effort required to achieve an objective, such as a program, project, or contract.

Maintain WBS in the OUTLINE and CHART views

Maintain work elements in an outline view (a grid with frozen and scrollable columns) and a graphical tree-style chart view to break down work, set target dates, enter estimates, and track costs (including automatic roll-up across the element hierarchy), with both continuous and batch input support.

Modify the work tree structure in the outline view.
- Change work element outline level – swipe left / right
- Change work element sequence – hold and move up or down
- Move a work element to another group – hold and move up or down
Maintain work elements in the chart view.
- Change work properties – double tap
- Change work display properties – long press
- Collapse/Expand group – tap on group icon
- Collapse/Expand ALL groups – tap with two fingers together
- Zoom – pinch
- Other operations such as selecting/unselecting work items and opening menus
